This is the part where we answer all your questions and we're sure you have a few!

If you're still wanting more info or are unsure of anything after reading these, please shoot us a message and we will be happy to answer them for you.

FAQ

- HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?

We are located in Bellingen NSW, on the Mid North Coast. We can travel as far as you like! however anything past our 50km radius is charged at a rate of $2.20/km.

 

- DO YOU NEED A FLAT SURFACE?

We sure do! And a clear easy path to the site. The Disco Pig is sure no 4wd! Clear access and flat ground are a necessity. We require A flat site of at least 4m deep x 6m wide.

- WHAT'S INCLUDED WHEN YOU HIRE THE DISCO PIG?

Each of our packages have their own unique inclusions. You can find this information on the home page. Please note that alcohol is NOT included in any of our packages. we are currently only a BYO service.

- DO YOU SUPPLY GLASSWARE?

Glassware can be added to any package at the cost of $5/person. Breakages are charged between $5 and $10 per glass depending on the glass broken and will be invoiced after the event.

- ARE THERE DRINKS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

No alcohol is included in our prices, we are currently only a BYO service. You supply the alcohol and we serve it for you.

If you hire us as a Smokin' Teapots Mocktail Bar, we supply all the non-alcoholic drinks and you can find our menu located on the - Menus - page. 

Alternatively, if you add a hot drinks package to your byo event package, we have a Hot Drinks menu which is located on the - Menus - page.

- HOW MUCH ALCOHOL SHOULD I BUY?

Once you have booked, we can start planning your drink list. We can assist you with a formula based on your number of guests so you can get as close as possible to the correct amount of drinks to buy.

- DO YOU NEED ACCESS TO POWER AND WATER?

Power, yes! At least 1 x 10 amp outlet. Water, also yes! however if water is an issue, we can discuss options

​

- DO YOU HAVE FRIDGES TO COOL DRINKS?

We have a freezer, 2 bar fridges and over 220 Ltrs of esky space to keep your drinks icy cold. We also have a few ice buckets for Champagne and Wine.

It is best to have drinks chilled prior to our arrival. We suggest hiring a cool room to store and chill your drinks.

- DO WE NEED A COOL ROOM?

for events with over 50 people, we recommend hiring a cool room.

- HOW BIG IS A DISCO PIG?

We require a flat space of 4m x 6m to fit her in comfortably.

​

- OUR EVENT HAS OVER 100 GUESTS.

No problem, get in touch with us and we can discuss all the details and forward you a detailed quote.

- WHO PAINTED THE DISCO PIG!?

The Disco Pig got her fresh new coat by Ash, at Open Studio in Coffs Harbour.

- DO I NEED TO HIRE THE WHOLE DISCO PIG?

You sure don't. If the Disco Pig is out of your budget, or just wont fit at your event, we also hire out our RSA qualified mixologists to your event to serve up a classy cocktail storm. For more info and pricing, send us some details of your event, and we guarantee to give you a great price.

-DO YOU HAVE PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE

We most certainly do!

​

- DOES THE DISCO PIG TEAM CLEAN UP?

We can't take rubbish away with us, but our bar team will be walking around and picking up our glasses through the night. We clean and take home all our glassware but any bottles or cans or rubbish will need to be disposed of by you or your venue. We recommend having designated areas for bins for recycling.
